Mr. Sager practices in the areas of probate and administration of estates, Surrogate’s Court proceedings and litigation, including will contests and judicial accountings, elder law, estate planning, drafting of wills, living wills, health care proxies, trusts and powers of attorney, guardianship proceedings for incapacitated and developmentally disabled individuals, real estate law and residential real estate transactions in New York and New Jersey, including contracts and closings for houses, condominiums, cooperative apartments and commercial properties, refinancings, real estate partition actions, deed transfers, including inter-family deeds with life estate, 1031 real estate exchanges, preparation of leases, commercial-business contracts and closings, the purchase and sale of small businesses (including stock sales and asset sales), corporate law, and vehicle and traffic law. His practice also includes wills, trusts, probate and estate administration, and related estate planning matters.

In the area of vehicle and traffic law, Mr. Sager represents motorists and commercial truckers for traffic tickets, violations, and citations in the New York City Traffic Violations Bureau (TVB), criminal courts, district courts, town courts, village courts, county courts, and before administrative agencies. He represents clients throughout the five boroughs of New York City—New York (Manhattan), Kings (Brooklyn), Queens, Bronx, and Richmond (Staten Island) Counties—as well as Nassau and Suffolk Counties (Long Island), Westchester and Rockland Counties, upstate New York, surrounding counties in New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.

Our firm is keenly aware of the needs of small business owners. We represent clients in the purchase and sale of franchise and non-franchise businesses, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, stock sales, and asset sales. We also review and prepare leases, incorporate businesses, prepare business certificates, obtain tax identification numbers, prepare partnership and shareholder agreements, and provide guidance on a wide range of business law matters.
