Karen Goldberg Sager is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, local federal courts and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mrs. Sager’s experience has resulted in her practice in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, and family and marital law.
In the area of personal injury and accidents, Mrs. Sager represents individuals who have been injured in automobile, bus, taxi, train, subway and aviation accidents. She handles no-fault automobile cases and pedestrian knockdowns. In addition, she represents individuals who have been injured in slip and falls on sidewalks and on streets, construction, building and work site accidents, premises defects, elevator, escalator and stair accidents, nursing home abuse, animal bites, assault cases, defective and dangerous products, lead poisoning, birth injuries, wrongful death and medical malpractice matters. She has recovered millions of dollars for her personal injury clients.
She will come to your home or hospital for personal injury and accident cases. Personal injury matters are accepted on a contingency fee basis and if there is no recovery, there is no fee except for expenses, which are payable at the conclusion of the matter.
In the area of family and marital law, Mrs. Sager handles contested and uncontested divorces, annulments, legal separations, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, family court matters, including child custody and child support, spousal support, child visitation, paternity hearings, orders of protection, name changes, adoptions, relocation and related matters.
Karen Goldberg Sager has handled complex divorce and family court matters, including those involving the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA) and the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA), which involve interstate matters. She serves on various family court/family law committees of the Brooklyn Bar Association and is a well-respected practitioner in the fields of family and marital law.
