How common are anesthesia errors?

One of the most critical aspects of surgery is the administration of anesthesia. You may not think much about it when you are consenting to a medical procedure in New York that requires you to have it. But it is an aspect of medical care you should not overlook. When administered properly, it relaxes the body and takes away the pain and discomfort you would normally feel without it. When it is given improperly, the results could lead to a great deal of pain, trauma, complications and death.

Don't Let Social Media Create Inconsistencies In Your Case

Oftentimes, a personal injury case will involve an evaluation of pain and suffering. Today, many people actively use different forms of social media, which can be used by a defendant to prove that such claims are false. For instance, if someone is claiming that an injury has lead to chronic foot pain, but is then captured in a photograph wearing high heels.

Can you avoid becoming the victim of misdiagnosis?

When you feel yourself beginning to experience pain, discomfort or suspicious symptoms that leave you feeling unwell, chances are you confide in your health care provider in hopes of finding a solution. However, New York doctors are at just as much risk of making mistakes as anyone else. Your efforts to take your health and treatment into your own hands can help you avoid becoming the victim of misdiagnosis.

Why is keeping a car seat rear-facing so recommended?

Car seats are often misunderstood. Now that there is a recommendation to keep kids in rear facing car seats for a longer time, many parents in New York simply do not understand. You may have such concerns. You may worry your child's legs are too long or it is too uncomfortable for him or her to sit backwards for the recommended time. However, there are some really good reasons why this is being advised.

Try To Avoid Driving While Drowsy

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), conducted a study that found that in 2014, drowsy driving claimed the lives of 846 people. Currently, the NHTSA is working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to draw awareness to the dangers associated with driving while drowsy in hopes that it will reduce the number of deaths and serious injuries.

Truck driver fatigue is a huge issue in New York. It leads to many accidents throughout the country, many of which are fatal. The sad part is such accidents are completely preventable. If you are a truck driver, you should never drive when you are tired.
