Marcel A. Sager

Marcel A. Sager is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, Illinois, local federal courts, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and an LL.M. (Masters) in Taxation from the New York University School of Law.

Mr. Sager practices in the areas of the probate and administration of estates, Surrogate’s Court proceedings and litigation, including will contests and judicial accountings, elder law, estate planning, drafting of wills, living wills, health care proxies, trusts and powers of attorney, guardianship proceedings for incapacitated and developmentally disabled individuals, real estate transactions in New York and New Jersey, including contracts and closings for houses, condominiums, cooperative apartments and commercial properties, refinancings, real estate partition actions, deed transfers, including inter-family deeds with life estate, 1031 real estate exchanges, preparation of leases, commercial-business contracts and closings, small businesses and corporate law, and vehicle and traffic law.

In the area of vehicle and traffic law, Mr. Sager represents motorists and truckers (commercial) for traffic tickets, violations and citations in the New York Traffic Violations Bureau, criminal courts, district, town and village courts and before administrative agencies. He covers the five boroughs of New York City, New York (Manhattan), Kings (Brooklyn), Queens, Bronx, and Richmond (Staten Island) counties, Nassau and Suffolk counties (Long Island), Westchester and Rockland counties, upstate New York, and surrounding counties in New Jersey.
